Hi, I’m Nicole.
Support for women who are great at their jobs but feel anxious, exhausted and close to burnout underneath.
I’m Nicole Larson, a Somatic Practitioner and Coach.
I work with women who are highly capable and deeply responsible, often the ones others rely on most. On the outside, things may look steady and successful, while internally there is exhaustion, self-doubt, and a sense of carrying too much alone.
In our work together, we focus on creating more space between pressure and response — so it becomes easier to set limits, trust your decisions, and leave work without it following you home.
I understand the world you’re working in
Before I became a Somatic Practitioner and Coach, I spent 15+ years in fast-paced workplaces where “just one more thing” was basically a job description.
And I watched the same pattern everywhere: the most capable women quietly becoming the default safety net. Catching mistakes, staying late, smoothing things over… and wondering why they were running on empty.
I was doing it too.
And this is not because we didn’t know better, but because we were the ones who could handle it. Reliable. Responsible. Fast. The “I’ll just do it” people. And once you’re that person, it’s hard to escape it.
What actually drains you isn’t just the workload. It’s the constant split attention of doing your job while also managing expectations, your tone, timing, and how you’ll be perceived if you say no. It’s the “yes, no problem!” that flies out of your mouth before you’ve even checked in with yourself.
And you probably already know the boundary stuff. You’ve read the books. You can say the words. But putting it into practice, that’s where you freeze like a deer in headlights or walk away wondering how you just willingly agreed to more… again.
This is where somatic work can become magical… yep.
Because insight usually isn’t the issue. The harder part is helping your body feel safe enough to disappoint someone, ask for support or say that something needs to come off your plate without panicking that others will think you’re incapable.
Now I help women catch that moment. The split second before the automatic yes. The point where everything usually runs on autopilot. we slow down enough to consider a new option and hone the ability to choose a new path.
My approach
My approach combines somatic coaching, Somatic Experiencing practices, parts work and practical exploration of the patterns contributing to burnout and chronic work stress.
We may pay attention to what happens in your body when you imagine saying no, leaving something unfinished, speaking in a meeting or allowing someone to be disappointed. We can also work with practical situations such as setting a limit, preparing for a difficult conversation or creating a more sustainable end to your workday.
Our sessions are gentle, collaborative and paced with care.
This is not about helping you relax while continuing to carry an unreasonable amount. It is about developing more capacity to pause, recognize what you need and respond differently.

a bit about me
I love reading fiction, biking along the river in summer, and cooking with friends — throwing pizzas, pasta, or desserts while listening to the perfect playlist. I bring this same curiosity, playfulness, and joy into my somatic sessions.
You can care about your work without giving it every evening and weekend too.
If you’re tired of second-guessing yourself, automatically saying yes or reaching the end of the day with nothing left, we can talk about what support might look like.
The first step is a free 20-minute consultation. You can tell me a little about what has been happening, ask questions and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
